Because, since 2001, our brethren from across the armed forces have been in harm’s way and literally thousands have made the ultimate sacrifice.

But I won’t. Because I think most of my followers are intelligent people who already know this. If they don’t know it, I think they’re smart enough to conduct a 5-minute Google search.

Participants brought motorcycles decorated with American and Prisoner of War flags to support the Battleship Benefit Ride for Fallen Soldiers in San Pedro, Calif., Nov. 4. Close to 75 motorcycle riders and their families attended the event.

A selection of longboards is laid out at Robb Field Skate Park in San Diego Dec. 9 before the 4th annual Skate for the Troops event. Approximately 50 participants and supporters came to the event to raise money for the Semper Fi Fund.
